Title: Identifying and Assessing Lyme Disease in Naturopathic Patients

This one-hour lecture provides an overview of the lab tests used in the assessment of Lyme disease and some of the associated infections. The lecture explains some of the challenges related to Lyme testing, how to perform the testing and which markers to assess. Focus is placed on the basic screening of Lyme disease, T cell tests and CD 57 tests. Discussion of five relevant cases will help to further explain the challenges and procedures involved the lab assessment of Lyme disease.
