Title: Clinical Tools to Address Emotional Trauma in Naturopathic Practice
Speaker: Dr. Tim Brown ND

In this 2-hour lecture Dr. Brown provides a detailed discussion on several specific the evidence based therapeutic interventions that are useful to address emotional trauma and mental health disorders with an emphasis on what can be applied/explained in the office.

  1. Depolarizing or neutralizing memories that are actively holding a negative emotional pattern
  2. Navigating the patient through their personal and transpersonal history to review and shift or release any contaminants or constraints that act as root causes for illness and distress. (Timeline Therapy)
  3. Releasing negative charged emotional attachments to previous experiences
  4. Creating distinctions and individualizing poorly functioning of the inner subjective personal experience of their family system growing up.
  5. Accessing new internal resources currently dormant or undeveloped that allow for increased flexibility and choice.
  6. Releasing long held emotional blockages that create the limitations in clients ability to grow and learn, going beyond self-limiting belief systems (Getting Unstuck)
  7. Enhancing the ability of emotions and nervous system to expand beyond current limitations and engage in positive and self-supporting processes previously unavailable (Going Beyond)
