This lecture provides comprehensive discussion of the safe and effective use of antibiotics to treat Lyme disease.  The presentation focusses on the antibiotics used to treat acute and chronic Lyme disease Lyme and co-infections as well as a discussion of natural Lyme treatments that are complementary and useful when using or when not using antibiotics . The potential side effects of these agents and the side effect susceptibilities of Lyme patients will be emphasized.   To deepen understanding a discussion on the modifications to antibiotic treatment for special clinical situations, IV antibiotic options and advanced treatment strategies will be provided
